You all raised 6,000 dollars for the Ms. Aubrey Scholarship! This means that 12 students will enter college as beneficiaries of this award. We are stunned and grateful beyond words. If you donated, watch your inbox for a thank you gift from the family in the coming weeks.
If you have arrived here after donations were closed and would still like to give something in Aubrey’s name, I have changed the donate link to point to the Columbus Memorial Library. A gift of $25 or more will get a nameplate and a tribute in a book.

Ms. Rodriguez taught with compassion, understanding and acceptance of all her students. She was aware of the many walks of life we all come from and the trials we go through as we seek to achieve our best.

We have opted to run our own website instead of using larger and known platform for a couple of reasons.
We want to avoid giving a percentage to the bigger sites.
Due to Ohio PTA rules we can only donate in amounts of 500 dollars or more directly to the PTA. By accepting donations of any amount here and forwarding the entire balance to the Franklin Heights PTA at once, we can get around this rule.
